Current Research Interest:

Geobiology: Understanding the co-evolutions of environment and biotic composition through critical transitions in Earth history, as well as the dynamics underlying the interactions between these two aspects

 

Astrobiology: Reconstruct biosignatures for life detection, either in deep time (e.g., Early Precambrian) or in deep space (e.g., Mars), through investigation on lipids molecular taphonomy.
