Education and Appointments:

2017/11 – 2020/03, Joint training Ph.D. student, Land Surface Modelling, Laboratorie des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement (LSCE), CEA-CNRS-UVSQ, Université Paris-Saclay, France. Advisor: Philippe Ciais

2015/09– 2020/06, Ph.D. in Quaternary Geology, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). Advisor: Chunju Huang

2011/09 – 2015/05, B.S. in Geology, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)

Current Research Interest:

  1. Quaternary land surface modelling – We are simulating the land cover (i.e., wetlands and vegetation) changes during the mid-Holocene period in two monsoon regions, the North Africa and the Yangtze River Basin, using statistic models and land surface models
  2. Climate extremes and vegetation – Research focuses on identifying extreme events in vegetation productivity and their drivers during the past few decades with the application of meteorological observation, remote-sensing images and model outputs.
